Current Information

Due to the current situation, the personal consultation hours of the social counselling do not take place in the StuRa office. Appointments for counselling take place via video conference - to make an appointment, please contact us by mail:

Monika Moravcikova is your social counsellor.

She focuses on advising foreign students and students with children, who are confronted with many different problematic situations. The social counselling is based on helping you to help yourself. We share important advice and contacts.

Moreover, the StuRa offers you the possibility to apply for support if experiencing temporary financial difficulties. The support is not repayable and can be applied for once per academic year.

What you need for the application: current certificate of enrolment, rent contract, proof of incidental expenses, account statements, current administrative decisions, children’s birth certificates, as well as pregnancy record book in case of pregnancy.

You are also welcome to talk to Constanze about the following:

  • Pregnancy
  • Being a student parent
  • Financial problems
  • Students with disabilities

However, if you have problems concerning the following:

  • Drug issues
  • Study-related stress
  • Exam nerves
  • Other psychological problems
