The Nightline is your help and information telephone line with night-time office hours. You can talk about your worries on the phone in the late evening hours. On the other end of the line is a trained person who listens to you actively and, if needed, refers you to a competent counselling centre.
The Nightline in Leipzig is available each Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the semester from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. by dialling 0341 / 973 7777. You can find further information on our Facebook page “Nightline Leipzig”, on our website leipzig.nightlines.eu, or by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Are you interested in being on the other side? If you have the time and energy to support us in our organisation or public relations work, or as a volunteer listener on the phone, please send us an e-mail with a short letter of motivation to email@example.com.
If you’re interested but do not yet have any experience in the field of telephone help lines – don’t worry! In mid-April we are going to organise a training session with psychological specialists and volunteers of established nightlines, so that you will be fully prepared for all situations on the phone.
You can’t sleep? – We listen.
