Do you have questions, as a student, about work or social security law regarding internships or a problem with a part-time job? Then take advantage of the voluntary advice offered by the DGB Campus Office Leipzig.

Important note: We do not offer job placement services. Our offer is free of charge - by students for students - and the discussions are treated with strict confidentiality. For legal reasons, we would like to point out that we do not provide legal advice in the sense of German Legal Advice Law. But in case we can’t help, we often know who can.

For example, we advise on:

• Rights and obligations in a part-time job (protection against dismissal, continued payment of wages in case of illness, vacation entitlement, sick leave, etc.)
• Social insurance (compulsory insurance for studies and part-time jobs)
• employment contract, reference and internship
• Different employment relationships (precarious employment, short-term employment, regular employment, etc.)
