FAQ Finances
How can I get money from the StuRa for my project? You can submit a project application! You can find more information under the point Budget Committee.
I already submitted an application several weeks ago. Why does nothing happen? Our budget committee usually meets every two weeks and discusses a large number of applications, so sometimes we get behind schedule and the application takes a few weeks. You can find more details about the procedure under the point Budget Committee.
How do I know whether my application has been approved or rejected? You can find out in the section on financial applications.
The project is finished. How do I get the money now? No later than three months after the end of the project, you must submit a statement of account to the accounting department. You can find more information about this in the section on financial applications.
How much is a grant from the StuRa? There is no rule as to the amount of money that the StuRa can use to fund a project. As a rule, the StuRa will fund the uncovered demand in the calculation of your project. You can also orientate yourself on the amount of funding the StuRa gives to other projects (see financial applications). As a working group you can apply for a maximum of 5% of the total annual budget for working groups. This is currently 325 Euros per project.
